Disruptive Fare - An ALTernative - In case inflation is bitin' your budget in the rear, we here are gonna help yall with a few country tricks to keep life as normal as possible. Prices are through the roof, no thanks to the Biden-Putin partnership. Man, what a great deal for Sleepy Creepy Joe (if that is Biden). Biden and Putin made the deal of a lifetime, Putin invaded Ukraine, establishing Russia as a new leading superpower (and dealing with a 1,000 year old beef with Ukes), meanwhile Biden 'sanctioned' Russia causing Russia's oil revenues to skyrocket, creating massive opportunities for Russia to sell Oil in Rubles. Meanwhile, Biden got the excuse to devalue the dollar thus exacerbating the planned breakup of USA, putting a few billion in his pocket and Hunter's, and who knows maybe this is the excuse to pause elections - who needs 'em? Here's a few things to keep you honest during these rough times and just remember, the meek shall inherit the Earth! Revelation means 'all will be disclosed' so stay tuned!
- Change your diet. Do you eat too much Pork, Red Meat like Steak? There's little health benefits of eating beef. Stick to fish, chicken, and protein alternatives like beans.
- Shop at Dollar Tree, Wal Mart or other discount alternative.
- Get a hobby that pays - Gardening! Grow your own food. Replace your useless shrubbery with Blueberries.
- Cancel all your subscriptions, stop discretionary spending on stuff you don't need.
- Checkout the discount aisle! I picked up some 'memorial candles' for 1.99 each, normally $11.49 lasts for 72 hours!
- Don't be shy to go to food banks. There are tons of food banks all over.
- Get a part time job at a grocery store or Lowes, special discounts for employees.
- Quit smoking or drinking, try to limit yourself to once a week. It's anyway better for your health.
- Sell some stuff on ebay!
- Do some odd jobs online for some extra spare cash, like remote work. Checkout some tools.
- Find stuff for free, here is a resource to get started (there is tons of free stuff).
- If you have only a small amount of money to invest - buy canned goods or long term storage food. You can always eat it if you can't resell it.
- Be useful in your community. Offer to do odd jobs for friends and neighbors, don't charge them, or take something of value in return. You can call on those credits when you really need it.
- Be an entrepreneur! One guy I know spent $500 at Costco buying sodas, chips, and drinks and sold them in front of his apartment. He lives in a big city so this wouldn't work if you were rural, but it was a great idea. He earned $1500 total or around 300% ROI in a weekend!
That's all for now folks, stay safe, abide by the law and always do what you know is right. - JJ
